Barney Fournerat passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the age of 67. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 PM on Monday, January 31, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Interment of ashes will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery at a later date. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until time of Services Monday. Barney was a 1973 graduate of St. Edmund Catholic School who now resided in Juliette, Tennessee. He loved boating and thoroughly enjoyed life, as evidenced in the close relationship that remained between him & his former wife, Kay Sneed Fournerat. Barney is survived by one brother, Rayford Fournerat; one sister, Carol LeBouef; his dear friend and former wife, Kay Fournerat and numerous nieces and nephews whom he dearly loved. He was preceded in death by his parents, Atney and Norma Fontenot Fournerat: two sisters, Jackie Folding and Cheryl Fruge.
