I grew up half a block from LD and his brother Floyd who had a bait shop. LD was a friend to everyone on the block. Prayers for LD and family.......
I remember L D as being so kind to my husband, Ben. He had several tests to be done with excruciating back pain. .I could see the pain in LD.'s eyes for Ben. All of a sudden, LD said, "that is enough pictures. If doctor isn't satisfied, let him talk to me." I thanked him and Ben more. May they meet in heaven.
LD, I’m am so grateful for the memories you and I made these last 20 plus years. Thank you for being a mentor and a very best friend. I will carry the memory of you in my heart every time I sit in a deer stand or cast a fishing pole. Rest In Peace my dear friend. I love you.
