Where should I start…..Gwen and I pretty much knew who each other were because we went to Eunice High School together but she was a year ahead of me!! We quickly became pretty much “Besties” when she and Bailie lived next door to my sister around the 2019/2020 time frame!! I recently moved to SD but I had an apartment not too far from her mom’s, The Sweet Mrs. Evelyn!!
Gwen would come over quite often for a girls movie and popcorn night and we’d go riding the bikes, etc….
I became close with her 2 daughters Bailie, Brittney, her husband Jarrel and their kids, especially little Cord who grew quite attached to my little Yorkie Max and of course Mrs Evelyn!!
In November 2023 Gwen & I and Max drove up to Hot Springs, Arkansas!! We had the best time going to one of the many mines there and hunting for crystals and riding the zip line, which I must say the first time she rode she screamed the whole way!! I have the videos to prove it!! 😌
This past September she flew up to Rapid City and stayed with my boyfriend Tim & I for 10 days!! We went sightseeing, took her to Mt Rushmore, Deadwood etc, etc..
I last spoke with her on Friday and we were planning a gift exchange amongst friends!! I sure wish I could have been able to see her again before God chose another angel!!! Tim and I will greatly miss our good friend and I know that I will see my friend again one day!! I Love & Miss you my dear friend Gwen (GG)
