Gene was such a special classmate from the EHS Class of ‘67! He always helped with the class reunions and shared his kindness to all! Tammy was an honorary member if our class! Gene always brought her along!!! Rest In Peace!✝️️✝️️🙏🙏
Gene was a big man with a big heart. Always ready to help anyone in need. We miss you.
Our Beloved Brother and Friend, was , with his sweet,quiet daughter Tammy, an integral family member of our Ward of Latter Day Saints in Opelousas. From the get go, he was a quiet, humble man, who after awhile felt comfortable in our presence and let us into his heart and life. We learned of his solid devotion to Jesus Christ, God, and Country. He was very tenderhearted towards his feeling for Christ. He bore such testimony of how His Saviour had given him the joy and strength to endure. As we got to know him and Tammy, we knew we had been blessed to have them in our family. It was early on I observed his love, generousity and absolute pleasure to cook for our get togethers. His cooking was 5 star!!! And Tammy, a great assistant cook/gopher .. Not only excellent cooking and service, he made sure all the culinary details were covered. And all this from his own generousity. The best roasts and jambalaya!!!! We will certainly miss his presence in our family. He always posted when the "Shrimp lady" was coming to the Eunice VFW Hall. Thankyou so much our Brother Gene!!!
